Road, Walkway & Parking Updates Sidewalk Closed: The northern sidewalk on Blvd of the Arts from Van Wezel Way to the west is closed and will remain closed until Phase 1 of The Bay is opened. In addition, our new ADA-accessible sidewalk east of Van Wezel Way (alongside the Fountain Garden and Sarasota Garden Club) is open. Temporary Closures: Portions of the Mangrove Bayou Walkway and the pedestrian bridge will be closed for renovations, including the laying of rubber surfacing and the addition of new benches and etchings to the bridge. Click here to view an updated park map. Area Closure: The south-western edge of Phase 1, where the Tree Nursery currently stands, is closed for construction. Parking: If you're coming to visit The Bay, please use our main park entrance at the 10th Street roundabout. There is plenty of parking available in the Van Wezel and Arts and Culture District parking lots. | |
